Kathryn Allen - MPH

For over two decades, Katie has stood at the intersection of public health and integrative medicine, working to bridge the gap between traditional wisdom-based empowerment health practices and modern healthcare systems. With a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) with an emphasis in Maternal and Child Health, she has dedicated her career to developing programs, policies, and education that focus on health promotion and community flourishing.

Kate understands that true health begins before birth—it starts with environmental wellness, physical and emotional nourishment, and policies that support families.

Why Katie is Leading the MAHA Movement in Maternal Health Policy Reform

She has the expertise. With an MPH in Maternal and Child Health, she has spent decades working with hospitals, universities, and health organizations to implement evidence-based wellness programs that directly impact women’s health, pregnancy, and postpartum care.

She understands that policy must reflect real needs. Through her work in hospital systems, public health organizations, and community outreach programs, she is committed to updating outdated maternal health models and replacing them with practices that honor whole-person, empowerment-based approaches to care.

She is a unifier. She has spent her career building bridges between holistic practitioners, medical professionals, and community leaders, ensuring that integrative health is part of the national conversation on maternal wellness.

We are living amidst an epidemic of chronic diseases, many of which can be prevented or treated with changes in diet, lifestyle, and stress management. That is where my passion lies... in creating sacred spaces for personal and community transformation, and developing health promotion programs to empower our communities to live well.
